Kuwait- Man dead, wife, son rescued


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Sept 21: Security operatives at the Salmi checkpoint rescued a Saudi lady with her son after the husband died in a horrifying traffic accident near the Saudi-Kuwaiti borders, says Al-Seyassah.

A security source said the officers received information about a vehicle toppling at the aforementioned location, and officers from Salmi checkpoint rushed to the scene and managed to remove the man, his wife and child from the wreckage.

The woman and the child were referred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Jahra Hospital in critical condition, while the man who had already succumbed to his injury was deposited to Forensics. A case was registered.

Meanwhile, 20-year-old Kuwaiti lady died after she lost control over her vehicle, swerving and crashed into a concrete barrier on the bridge that separates Saad Al-Abdullah and Jaber Al-Ahmad areas. The remains were deposited to Forensics for autopsy. A case was registered for investigation to determine the cause of accident
