Oman- His Majesty the Sultan exchanges new Hijri year greetings with world leaders


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- On the occasion of the New Hijri Year and the anniversary of Prophet Mohammed's Hijra, His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has exchanged greetings cables with leaders of the sisterly and friendly Arab and Muslim countries.

In his cables, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere greetings and best wishes of good health, happiness and a long life for them, praying to Allah the Almighty for the return of this happy occasion on them and make the New Year, a year of welfare and peace for all people. He also wished the Islamic nations further progress and prosperity.

In their cables to the country's monarch, the leaders of the sisterly and friendly countries expressed their sincere greetings and best wishes of good health, well-being and a long life to His Majesty the Sultan, praying to Allah the Almighty for the return of this blessed occasion on His Majesty the Sultan for many years to come to achieve all aspirations of further progress, welfare and prosperity for his faithful people and all Muslims well-being and progress. His Majesty the Sultan has exchanged greetings with King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan, President of the UAE, King Hamad bin Issa al Khalifa of Bahrain, and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, Emir of Qatar.

They expressed their heartfelt greetings on this happy occasion along with their best wishes of good health and wellbeing to His Majesty the Sultan, praying to the Almighty Allah to protect His Majesty the Sultan and grant him a long life and for dear Oman and its loyal people further progress under His Majesty the Sultan's wise leadership.
