Trump: U.S. will consider resuming halted military aid to Egypt


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) New York, Sept. 21 (Petra) -- U.S. President, Donald Trump, and Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, met late Wednesday in New York on the sidelines of an annual United Nations gathering and discussed bilateral relations and the U.S. aid to Egypt.

Trump told the Egyptian president that the U.S. appreciates everything he's done and vice versa. He also said that the U.S.-Egypt relations are "very good." Trump also said that the U.S. will consider resuming some suspended military assistance.
