Saudi- Yemeni Government Decides to Develop Nashton Port in East of Country

Aden, Dhul-Hijjah 29, 1438 H., Sep 20, 2017, SPA -- The Yemeni Government decided today to work on developing "Nashton" port in Al-Mahra province in the east of the country.
Prime Minister Ahmed Obeid bin Dagher stressed that "Nashton" port is one of the most important Yemeni ports and represents an important economic pillar of the country.
According to the official Yemeni News Agency, bin Dagher clarified that the project will increase the depth of the port to 7.5 meters, which will contribute significantly to receiving many large ships, supporting ease and speed of entry and exit of ships from the port, and doubling the commercial movement.
