Over the course of three 60min sessions, speakers will share ideas in the field of medicine, sociology, science, technology and design, as well as relationships, personal experiences and perspectives that offer bridges across race, background, belief, opinion and other differences that divide.

From 2011 to 2013 TEDxMuscat was an annual event which had different themes. From 2014 TEDxMuscat looked at building a community with TEDxMuscat Salon events collaborating with university, schools and corporates.

TEDxMuscat was started by Satyabrata Acharya along with Arunraj Subbaraj (TED Fellow) and Roopesh Bhatnagar.
