Huge earthquake hits Mexico


(MENAFN) A strong earthquake hit Mexico City, left more than 200 people dead and destroyed several buildings.


Moreover, the 7.1 magnitude quake damaged a school and killed more than 20 children, based on President Enrique Pe"a Nieto saying.

"More than 20 children and two adults had been found dead at the collapsed Enrique R"bsamen elementary school in Mexico City's southern Coapa district, another 30 children and eight adults were missing", President Pe"a Nieto said.

Earlier this month, an 8.1 magnitude earthquake has struck south of the country, killed at least 90 people.
