Qatar announces free visa on arrival for Pakistani citizens
According to a notification issued by the Qatari embassy in Pakistan, the Pakistani citizens having return tickets and at least 5,000 riyals will be eligible for free visa on arrival in Qatar. Validity period of at least six months in the passports will also be required for free visa.
The statement said the 30-day period for free visa may be extended. It said the Pakistani citizens directly arriving in Qatar will also require showing polio immunisation certificate at the airport.
The Pakistani citizens who want to stay longer than one month will require a residence permit.
