(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) NEW YORK, Sept 19 (KUNA) -- European Union (EU) foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini commended Kuwait for its efforts at regional and international levels to promote security and peace, as well as addressing crises in the area.
Mogherini, during a meeting with Kuwait's First Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah in New York, said the EU was pleased with the level of cooperation with Kuwait.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled also praised the EU's endeavors to achieving security and stability regionally and globally.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Foreign Minister for the Foreign Minister's Office Ambassador Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Mohammad Al-Sabah, Kuwait's Ambassador to the UN Mansour Al-Otaibi and Assistant Foreign Minister for International Organizations Nasser Al-Hayyen. (end) bs.asf
