(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- H E Sayyid Ahmed bin Hilal bin Saud al Busaidi, Wali of Muttrah and chairman of the Municipal Affairs Committee, conducted a field visit to the Muttrah Central Fish and Vegetables Market. During the visit, H E Busaidi inspected the market's facilities and met a number of the sellers in the market.
He discussed issues raised by the sellers. During discussions it was agreed that the sellers will be shifted to the new market on September 26.
He also thanked the sellers at the market for their desire to continue in their jobs as fish and vegetable sellers and maintain Oman's tradition.
He also thanked the Muscat Municipality and the investing companies who worked towards raising the standard of the market to become a tourism and economical treasure.
