Civil Defence comes to the rescue of 13-year-old in UAE

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The Ajman Civil Defence rescued a 13-year-old boy who was locked inside his apartment while his parents were away and couldn't open the door when they returned.

Lt Col Mohammed Al Muhairi, spokesperson for the Ajman Civil Defence, said that the operations room got a call late at night from an Arab woman asking for help to open her apartment door. Her teenage son had locked himself inside and was unable to open the door for them.

The intervention team immediately responded to the request, reaching the location in a short time. The team broke the door open and the boy was checked to ensure he was in a good health condition. The team also installed a new door lock before leaving the apartment, to ensure the family's safety.

Lt Col Al Muhairi said the civil defence aims to protect people and properties, and ensure the safety of everyone in the emirate.
