GCC States experience slowdown in fuel consumption


(MENAFN) An economic slowdown coupled with energy reforms has affected local fuel consumption increase through most of the GCC and in some cases even led to negative increase.

Meanwhile, KSA,the region's largest fuel consumer, saw a 10 percent fall in demand for diesel last year, whereas gasoline demand flatlined.

Moreover, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain have also viewed a fall in gasoline consumption since main reforms were showed last year.
