Dubai police impound car for having Qatari number plate
Doha,Qatar: Social media users have posted a traffic violation document issued by Dubai traffic department for a vehicle owner because his car had a Qatari number plate, a report in Arabic daily Al Sharq said.
The white-coloured car was seized by the general traffic department and was towed away to Dubai police impound yard in Warsan.
The UAE security and traffic authorities had recently detained many Qatari vehicles and prevented any vehicle carrying any sign of Qatar from plying on their streets in clear violation of freedom of movement.
