Video: Hail lashes parts of UAE, dust warnings issued


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Few parts of the UAE were covered with fog and mist in the early hours of Monday, including Abu Dhabi - Dubai Road and Liwa.

Heavy rains with hail lashed parts of UAE on Friday, surprising the UAE residents. The video was shared by Storm Centre on Twitter.

The weather department issued a notification warning against fog formation that could bring visibility down to less than 1000m. Motorists are advised to drive with extra caution.

- UAE WEATHER (@NCMS_media) Sharing today's weather update, The National Center of Meteorology and Seismology said that today will be a hot day in general and temperature could get mild by night.

Clouds will form over some eastern and southern areas of the country, may become convective at times by afternoon.

- UAE WEATHER (@NCMS_media) Light to moderate winds will blow in general, freshening at times by
afternoon, and may cause blowing dust over some exposed areas.

The temperature will hover between 41 to 44C in the internal areas of UAE.

The relative humidity will increase during night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas, with a chance of fog / mist formation. Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
