First term of Juventus Academy Oman kicks off


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The first term of Juventus Academy Oman kicked off to a grand start recently from two locations - Muscat International School, Qurm and A'Soud Global School in Seeb.

Italian and UKUEFA B and FA module level 3 coaches are present at the academy, and will be teaching the Juventus methodology.

There will be four terms in a year starting from Sept 2017 till June 2018 in both the locations.

The Juventus Academy aims to improve the youngsters' technical skills but also their personal qualities in line with the main guiding concept: 'Develop people first and footballers second'.

MarcoDegortes, Juventus Academy area manager(Gulf Countries, Tunisia, Russia, Libano, Bosnia) was in Muscat for one week to supervise the sessions in the first week of the programme.

With a degree in physical education, Marco has beenhead coach - Juventus Training Camp in Australia, Austria, Switzerland, Tunisia, Brasil, Turkey, Colombia, Paraguay, Guatemala, Russia, Chile, Poland, Canada, Argentina, Bosnia and the US.

Juventus is the most successful club in Italian football and one of the most successful globally. Juventus Academy is the Juventus club's Soccer School and was set up to develop participants' skills through the Juventus training method – applied according to the age and level of the players. The principles underlying the project are fair play, having fun, sharing experiences and learning to appreciate the importance of victory and accept defeat.
