Jordan- Parliamentary committees meet Indonesian, Moroccan envoys


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Sept. 18 (Petra) -- The Jordanian-Indonesian Parliamentary Friendship Association headed by MP Yahya al-Saud Monday met Ambassador of Indonesia to Jordan Andy Rachmianto, and discussed with him bilateral ties and ways to boost them in various fields, particularly the parliamentary domain.

At the meeting, Al-Saud praised the solid relations between the two countries, calling for the importance of developing them at the trade, cultural and tourism levels.

He also commended Indonesia for supporting the Palestinian people, emphasizing the need for consolidated international efforts to stop the Israeli violations against Jerusalem's holy places.

Also, the Jordanian-Moroccan Brotherhood Committee headed by MP Wafa Mustafa met with Moroccan ambassador to Jordan, Mohamed Sitri. Both sides reviewed cooperation and coordination ties between the two countries and ways to further develop them in various fields, especially the parliamentary and economic domains.

They also hailed the deep-rooted ties between the two countries.
