Egypt to issue USD1.8bn bond by end of Nov

(MENAFN) Egypt will pump USD1.8bn bond by the end of Nov and aims to launch a new USD10bn Eurobond program in the coming year.

Additionally, Cairo aimed to sell Eurobonds worth USD3bn to USD4bn in the Jan-March period of the coming year.

Earlier this year, the country sold USD7bn in five-, 10-and 30-year bonds, part of its return to global markets after turmoil trailing the ouster of President Mubarak in 2011.

Meanwhile, Egypt's foreign reserves grew to USD36.04bn at the end of July, their highest level since the 2011 uprising hammered the economy and foreign investment.
