(MENAFN) Zuzana Farkasova, one of Slovak Fire and Rescue Corp srevealed that one person passed away as well as further 2 wounded after the crash of a small aircraft smashed at the Prievidza airport in western Slovakia.
Moreover, the incident happened on Saturday amid an Open House Day organized by the Aeroclub Prievidza.
"We organise such events annually for young people and the public to make them familiar with our activities. We wanted to make a more colourful programme by showing planes also in the air, not only static shows. However, a tragic event occurred," according to the official Zlocha.
