Kuwait- Bedoun held with 100 bags of marijuana


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Sept 17: A 43-year old Bedoun man was arrested in possession of 100 bags of marijuana. According to security sources, Ahmadi securitymen headed by Brigadier Abdullah Safa launched a campaign under the guidance of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid Al-Jarrah. During the campaign, the suspect was arrested in possession of marijuana, which he was planning to sell to his clients in the area.

Necessary action was taken and he was referred with the marijuana to the Drugs Control General Department for investigations. Meanwhile, Hawally securitymen arrested a Kuwaiti citizen, who was wanted by law for his involvement in a financial case, in possession of drugs. In addition, Farwaniya securitymen arrested a Kuwaiti citizen and a Bedoun man in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Drugs found on Kuwaiti: A Kuwaiti citizen, who was wanted by law for his involvement in several cases, was arrested in Jahra area in possession of 15 sachets of methamphetamine and 11 syringes as well as heroin, says Al-Seyassah. According to security sources, Jahra rescue officers were patrolling Jahra area when they suspected a man who was in a disoriented state. They stopped him and checked his details to discover he is a citizen who is involved in a number of cases. They checked him to find the abovementioned drugs on him. He admitted that he was planning to sell the heroin to his clients.
