Oman's Al Raffd Fund to finance 200 small entrepreneurs in 2017


(MENAFN) More than 200 small Omani businesses worked by young entrepreneurs are projected to receive funding from Al Raffd Fund in the recent year.

Furthermore, the fund offers low interest soft loans and other assistance for young entrepreneurs to launch small businesses, which will make entrepreneurial culture amid locals.

Accordingly, the fund has a large corpus of OMR40mn, but it would not increase seed capital on a huge scale.

The Sultanate has more than 30.000 small and medium-size enterprises, which are posted with Riyada (Public Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development).
