(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Sharjah Police have launched a portable radar to catch traffic violators.
In a clip posted by Sharjah Police on social media, an officer - carrying the mobile radar - urges motorists to abide by speed limits.
"Due to over speeding and breaching of speed limits, namely on Maliha road, Al Dhaid highway and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, mobile radars will be installed on the roads.

"The move was taken out of the police for your safety and the users of the road, and to save lives," he said.
He urged motorists to follow speed limits and wished everyone a safe journey.
