Kuwaiti oil price up 7 cents to USD 52.30 pb


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 16 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwait oil went up by cents to USD 52.30 per barrel Friday as oppose to USD 52.23 pb the day before, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Saturday.

The prices were stable on the global level as a result of predicted gains in the upcoming periods based on high demand, the resumption of operations at US refineries after Hurricane Irma, and the continuation of OPEC's production cut agreement.

The price of the Brent crude was up by 15 cents to USD 55.62 per barrel while the West Texas Intermediate stood still at USD 49.89 pb. (end) osj.gta
