(MENAFN) Qatar Ports Management Authority (Mwani Qatar) cleared 142.854 tons of general cargo in August this year compared to 80.275 tons in July 2017, an increase of 78 percent.
Accordingly, the Authority handled 67.603 standard containers in the cited month of the year and also handled 4.870 cars, 58.895 heads of livestocks.
Additionally, Mwani cleared 2.54.234 tons in total of general cargo in the June-August period of the year.
In June, Mwani also handled as many as 4.322 vehicles and also handled 212 vessels across its different ports in the nation.
