(MENAFN) Florida's governor Rick Scott promised they will investigate how six people had died at a nursing home which lost power when Hurricane Irma hit the region.

As the death toll from the storm reached 80, officials are still assessing the damage after the Hurricane powered through the Caribbean as the most powerful on record.

However, police opened investigation at the Rehabilitation Center at Hollywood Hills in Hollywood, north of Miami, where three residents died at the facility and three later found dead at a nearby hospital.
