(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PARACHINAR, 15 September: At least three people were killed and another injured in a US drone strike carried out in the Pak-Afghan border area in Kurram Agency on Friday, officials said.
Official sources in the political administration told TNN that the US pilot-less drone carried out the attack in Ghuzgoori area of the tribal agency on Friday afternoon.
They added that three missiles were fired in which a compound, reportedly belonging to militants, was targeted.
It merits a mention here that it was the second drone attack in the Fata region during the current year. The last attack was conducted in March in which two people were killed.
