May discusses with US secretary of state Iranian, N. Korean threats

London, Dhul-Hijjah 23, 1438 H., September 14, 2017, SPA -- Prime Minister Theresa May of Britain held bilateral talks with U.S. secretary of state Rex Tillerson which dealt with the Iranian, North Korean threat on world security and peace.
During the meeting, bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to boost them were discussed in addition to the threat posed by Iran and North Korea on international peace and security.
Following the meeting, Tillerson and his British counterpart Boris Johnson told reporters that the talks dealt with the destructive impact Irma storm left as well as the Iranian and North Korean threats on world peace and security as well as situations in Libya, Burma and issues of concern to the two countries.
For his part, Tillerson said it is apparent that Iran is derailing in its application of some parts of the nuclear deal with the world community, adding that his country is currently considering the next step Washington would take amid Iran's continuing interference in Middle Eastern countries affairs.
