Jeddah, Dhul-Hijjah 23, 1438 H., September 14, 2017, SPA -- An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's strong condemnation of the twin gun and bomb attacks on a restaurant and police checkpoint south-west of Nassiriya in the Thi Qar province, Iraq, killing and wounding a number of people.
The source reaffirmed the Kingdom's condemnation of terrorism and extremism and its solidarity with the Republic of Iraq.
The official source offered the Kingdom's condolences to the families of the victims and to the Government and people of the the Republic of Iraq, wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded.
