Erdogan invited to Kuwait


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ANKARA, Sept 14 (KUNA) -- The visiting Kuwaiti Premier, His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, has delivered an official invitation to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to visit Kuwait.

Sopkesperson of the Turkish Presidency said at a news conference that the invitation is a significant event in the two countries' bilateral relations, adding that his president held talks with His Highness the prime minster, along with First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, dealing with the Gulf crisis.
The discussions touched on prospected role by Turkey to partake in the efforts to resolve it in coordination with Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt.
The talks were held at the Turkish Presidential palace in Ankara. (end) rk
