Afghanistan- Explosives found in front of Kapisa university
Police spokesman Mohammad Ayub Yousafzai told Pajhwok Afghan News the explosives had been placed in front of the university near Lankan office's wall.
He said the militants wanted to target students coming to the university, but the explosives were detected and defused by police.
Police have launched investigation into the incident, however, no one has so far been arrested.
Mohammad Jafar, a student of the university, said English language and computer courses were taught to students in Lankan centre and many academic and cultural events took place there.
According to him, if the blast had taken place, many people would have suffered casualties.
