(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Sept. 12 (Petra)--Jordan's exports of vegetable and fruits dropped by 5.7 percent in August this year standing at 69,000 tons compared to the same period of last year.
Assistant Secretary General of the Agriculture Ministry of Marketing and Information Salah Tarawneh said the decline resulted from the successive heatwaves that affected exports of vegetables and fruits .
