In its quest to fulfil a vision of delivering a highly connected, mixed community within the existing fabric of Doha, Al Wa'ab City (AWC) has commissioned the infrastructure works of its central district to National Industrial Contracting Company (NICC).
AWC offers diverse products for both Qataris and expats, including luxury villas, contemporary apartments, retail destinations, office clusters, and street-front showrooms at Salwa Road.
Ma'arid Al Wa'ab showrooms are at full occupancy, while the recently completed Janayin rental community villas and Nour Al Wa'ab luxury family villas are being populated.
Following a masterplan redesign, the central district, named Al Wa'ab Central provides a vast range of apartments complemented by a lively boulevard, animated public spaces, community courtyards, and diverse hospitality, retail, and leisure offerings, all within a walking distance.
During a signature event, Sheikh Nasser Nawaf Nasser Khaled Al-Thani, spokesperson of AWC, commented, 'We are consistently meticulous in selecting partners who will nurture our project's value proposition with exemplary standards. NICC's performance in the past four decades, guided by their attention to quality and detail, has earned them the award.
On the occasion, Kamal Efrangy, CEO of NICC, commented, 'It is a privilege to be an active participant in the making of such a project. We look forward to working closely with the developer and the owners to deliver what will be the most attractive urban center in the city.
Commencement of infrastructure works in the central district of AWC is planned for September 10, 2017, spanning an 18-month period comprising a 32m wide boulevard.
AWC is one of the largest private real estate developments in Qatar, stretching over 1.2 million sq m as a thoughtfully planned, medium density development in the very heart of Al Wa'ab area.
