Saudi foils plot to attack defence ministry headquarters
PESHAWAR, 12 September: Saudi Arabia has claimed foiling a suicide attack on the headquarters of defence ministry.
The Saudi officials said militants were planning to launch suicide attack on the headquarters of defence ministry in Riyadh which was foiled. The officials added that two Yemeni and two Saudi citizens have been arrested for planning the suicide attack. They said hand grenades and other arms have also been recovered from the suspects.
The officials said both the arrested Yemeni citizens are members of the Islamic State (IS) militant group.
