Kunooz Oman appoints new chief financial officer


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Kunooz Oman, one of the sultanate's leading companies engaged in the mining, quarrying, transportation and construction materials sectors, has appointed a new chief financial officer to join its top management.

Sachin Bawa brings the experience and expertise of over three decades in finance and general management in India and the Middle East. A fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, he has held senior management positions in Oman's industrial and banking sectors since 1997.

Since 2014, he has been advisor to key business houses on greenfied projects while simultaneously overseeing his own greenfield ventures in education and healthcare. Prior to that he was the CEO of Izz Group of Companies, CFO of the Shanfari Group of Companies and a senior manager at Bank Muscat.

His achievements include re-engineering of corporates, turnarounds, amalgamations and mergers, demergers, managing and advising key business negotiations and successfully executing them.

He has held board positions in various SAOC and SAOG companies.
