(MENAFN) Oman's Rural Areas Elect Co. (RAEC) will ink a number of deals for a main wind power project built with the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Co. (Masdar).
Meanwhile, it will involve inking of the Power Purchase Agreement by RAEC with Oman Power and Water Procurement Co. and Elect Connection Agreement with Oman Elect Transmission Co.
Moreover, the 50MW wind energy project will be bases in Fatkhait area at Wilayat of Shalem and Halaniyat Islands in the governorate of Dhofar.
In addition, the Dhofar wind project is projected to produce almost 160 GW per year in order to meet the power needs of almost 16.000 homes.
