Cargill Inc. to sell US metals to Japan's Metal One


(MENAFN) Global commodities trader Cargill Inc. said it agreed to sell its US metals business to Japan's Metal One Corp. in its latest move to boost its focus on higher food and agricultural business.

The deal was signed and both parties were expected to close the sale later this year, Cargill did not give a sale price.

In details, sale includes steel and iron ore activities based on Minneapolis and Houston, as well as eight processing facilities in seven US cities.
