King accepts credentials of ambassadors


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday accepted the credentials of newly appointed ambassadors to Jordan during an official ceremony at Basman Palace, according to a Royal Court statement.

King Abdullah accepted the credentials of Ambassador Aránzazu Bañón Dávalos of Spain, Ambassador Tone Elisabeth Bækkevold Allers of Norway, Ambassador Barbara Joziasse of the Netherlands, and Ambassador Mattar Saif Sulaiman Al Shamsi of the UAE.

His Majesty also received the credentials of Caroline C. S. Bwanali-Mussa as the non-resident ambassador of Malawi.

Royal Hashemite Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi attended the ceremony.
