(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Sept 10: An Egyptian expatriate was arrested in Khaitan area in possession of 250 bottles of locally manufactured liquor. According to sources, Farwaniya securitymen were patrolling Khaitan area when they suspected a man driving a Japanese-made vehicle and ordered him to pull over. They checked his details to discover he is an Egyptian expatriate. When they asked him to open the trunk of his vehicle, he immediately ran in an attempt to escape from the police but they chased him and managed to seize him. They checked the trunk of his vehicle to find 250 bottles of locally manufactured liquor. When questioned, he confessed that he was planning to sell them to his clients. He was referred with the liquor bottles to the concerned authorities were necessary action was taken.
