Pakistan- Fata Students Forum to convene grand Jirga on Fata reforms

KHAR: Fata Students Forum Pakistan on Saturday announced to convene an a grand Jirga on Fata Reforms to press the government to implement the reforms package in tribal areas.

Addressing a press conference here at Bajaur Press Club, FSA central chairman Reham Zeb said that they have also contacted they have contacted Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Fazlur Rahman, Mehmud Khan Achakzai and leaders of all political parties.

He said that they lawyers, civil society and local elders would also participate in the Jirga to decide future course of action regarding Fata reforms.

'Political parties are making efforts for reforms in tribal areas and we want to unit them on one platform and decide how could we find a better way to decide future of Fata,' he said, adding that Jirga would be convened in October.
