Jordan- King receives credentials of new envoys

Amman, Sept. 10 (Petra) -- His Majesty King Abdullah II on Sunday received the credentials of 5 newly-appointed ambassadors to the Kingdom.

The ambassadors are: Aranzazu Banon Davalos of Spain, Tone Allers of Norway, Barbara Joziasse of the Netherlands, Matar Saif Suleiman Al-Shamsi of the United Arab Emirates ( UAE) and the non-resident Ambassador of Malawi Caroline Bwanali-Mussa.

Upon arrival for the ceremony at the Basman Palace, a military band played the national anthems of Jordan and the five nations.

The envoys laid wreaths on the tombs of the late King Hussein, King Abdullah I, founder of Jordan and King Talal.

The ceremony was attended by the chief of the Royal Court and the minister of foreign and expatriate affairs.
