Philippines to suspend trade with N. Korea after UN resolution


(MENAFN) Manila's Foreign Minister announced that the Philippines suspended trade relations with N. Korea to comply with the UN Security Council resolution over repeated missile tests.

After the US and many other Western countries asked the UN to consider tougher new sanctions on N. Korea after its test last week that it said was on advanced hydrogen bomb.

Foreign Minister Alan Peter Cayetano stated: "We can say we have suspended trade relations with North Korea."

And he confirmed that his country will comply with UNSC resolution fully including the economic sanctions.
