Erdogan, Trump discuss regional developments


(MENAFN) Turkish Presidency announced that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and US counterpart Donald Trump held a phone call and discussed regional developments.

The Presidential Press Office said both leaders discussed the importance of cooperation between both nations to boost bilateral relations and stability in the Middle East.

However, Trump and Erdogan agreed they will meet during the UN General Assembly in New York later this month.
