Kuwait- AED 150,000 found with Indian passenger
(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Sept 9: An Indian passenger who arrived at Kuwait International Airport from Dubai was arrested in possession of AED 150,000 which he did not declare or verify its source.
The Customs officer, after noticing the nervousness of the passenger, decided to inspect the baggage he was holding. Initial inspection revealed nothing but the inspector, due to his experience, insisted on carrying out a comprehensive search and eventually managed to find the abovementioned amount. When questioned, the passenger could not prove the source of the money. The money was confiscated and legal measures were taken against the passenger.
