Kuwait- Six referred to deportation for driving without a license


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Sept 9: General Traffic Department affiliated to Ministry of Interior launched several campaigns in all governorates of Kuwait during the period from August 20 to September 2 which resulted in the issuance of 57,514 different citations.

According to the ministry's Public Relations and Security Media Department, 2,122 vehicles and one motorcycle were seized, 82 individuals were detained in traffic custody for committing serious offenses and six among them were referred to deportation for driving without a license.

The department urges all citizens and residents to abide by the traffic rules and regulations, emphasizing that the law was only put in place for ensuring the safety of everyone.

It affirmed that awareness campaigns with the cooperation of all media and social media will continue with the aim of achieving the desired objectives.
