Kuwait oil price up 2 cents to USD 51.38 pb


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 9 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil was up by two cents to USD 51.38 per barrel Friday after it was at USD 51.36 pb the day before, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Saturday.

Globally, the prices were down due to Hurricane Irma which poses as a threat to energy facilities located in Florida State and regions in southeast of the United States.

The price of the Brent crude was down by 71 cents to USD 53.78 per barrel, the same case with the American crude, which was down by USD 1.61 to USD 47.48 pb. (end) osj.gta
