Jordan- Bomb blast kills 2 in southern Baghdad
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Baghdad, Sept. 8 (Petra) -- A bomb blast ripped through a market in southern Baghdad, Iraq, on Friday, killing 2 people and wounding 5 others, according to a security source.
Colonel Ali Jassim with the Baghdad police told Petra's correspondent that a bomb went off in a popular market in southern Baghdad, killing and injuring 7 civilians.
He added that a security force cordoned off the area and took the dead bodies and the injured to a nearby hospital.
