(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MOSCOW, Sept 8 (KUNA) -- Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will begin a Middle East mission on Saturday, including Saudi Arabia and Jordan, spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Friday.
Maria Zakharova said at a news conference that Lavrov, during his regional mission due on September 9-11, will hold talks with senior officials, namely Saudi King Salman Bin Abdulaziz.
In Amman, he will also meet King Abdullah, she said, noting that the talks would tackle regional issues namely efforts to establish low-tension zones in Syria and forming a unified delegation to represent the Syrian opposition in the peace talks. (end) as.rk
