(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Sept 7: Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah said that media reports published earlier on the escape of 14 Abdali cell convicts were incorrect.
In response to the MP Waleed Al-Tabtabaei's query on the issue, Sheikh Khalid affirmed the Ministry of Interior is keen on taking action against anyone proven to have violated laws of the State and threaten national security He also confirmed the availability of human and technological resources for gathering information which led to the arrest of the fugitives, paving way for the implementation of the Cassation Court's verdict.
Meanwhile, MP Abdulkarim Al-Kandari's threat to grill Foreign Affairs Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah if the latter does not prosecute people in other countries who offended Kuwait turned into a parliamentary query. The lawmaker stressed the need to take into consideration the rule of reciprocity in dealing with this issue.
