(MENAFN- Gulf Times) State officials and major players in Qatar's private sector, as well as foreign dignitaries have lauded the achievements made by the country's maritime gateway to global markets, which was officially inaugurated on Tuesday by His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani. The Hamad Port, according to HE the Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim Seif Ahmed al-Sulaiti, will provide commercial access to more than 150 countries, thus increasing trade volume between Qatar and its international commercial partners.
