H E Manabile Shogole, South Africa's Ambassador to Oman said, 'This trip will be a historic milestone in the close and longstanding relations between Oman and South Africa. These ties will be further strengthened by the people-to-people contact that the riders will establish as our goodwill ambassadors.'

Speaking about the trip, Khalid Aasem Zahran al Azri, president of Oman Riders Club said, 'This is our third international trip and it will give us a chance to introduce our country as a fantastic tourist destination to the people of South Africa.
