Total inks deal to sell 15pct share to Kuwaiti firm


(MENAFN) French giant Total proclaimed that it has inked a deal to sell its remaining 15 percent share in Gina Krog oilfield at Norway to Kuwait Foreign Petroleum firm at a worth of USD317mn.

Moreover, this deal builds on last year transaction between Total and Kufpec concerning Norwegian North Sea assets, which involved a 15 percent stake in Gina Krog.

In addition, Kufpec was established by its parent firm Kuwait Petroleum Corp in 1981 to connect in exploration, development and production of crude oil.
