(MENAFN) Dubai's Road and Transport Authority (RTA) proclaimed that the whole number of passengers lifted by public transport and taxicabs in Dubai amid Eid holiday reached almost 5.5mn.
Accordingly, the RTA has lifted 5.454.714 passengers amid holiday, where the number of Metro riders reached 1.829.356 passengers.
In addition, Dubai tram lifted 74.311 passengers, whereas 1.448.306 passengers were lifted by buses, 240.954 passengers by marine transport.
The authority has prepared a comprehensive traffic plan in order to optimize the use of cars amid the holiday.
